Announcing the upcoming End of Support for Window 7 and 8.1
First released in 2009, Windows 7 is reaching the end of its technical life. Microsoft will be ending Extended support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search?alpha=windows%207).
CounterPath will no longer be supporting the operation of Bria on Windows 7 or 8.1 after January 14th, 2020. We won’t take any active steps to prevent it, it just won’t be tested or supported.
Our upcoming 5.7 release will be the last version that CounterPath will officially test and support running on Window 7 or Window 8.1. Upcoming releases will only be supported on Windows 10.
